What to feed animals:

• Chickens: grain directly from your bucket or sprinkle on ground

• Ducks: grain directly from your bucket or sprinkle on ground

• Geese: grain – only sprinkle on ground

• Turkeys: grain – only sprinkle on ground

• Sheep: branches, bread, grain from flat palm of your hand

• Pigs: branches, bread, fruit and vegetables provided in tubs – throw food only, never hand feed

• Cattle: branches, bread, fruit and vegetables provided in tubs - watch for rough sticky tongue

• Donkeys: branches, bread, fruit and vegetables provided in tubs – keep fingers clear of teeth

• Goats: branches, bread, grain from flat palm of your hand

• Emu: grain directly from your bucket (leave a little grain at the end and hold out your bucket)

 

DO NOT FEED: Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Dog, Cat or Cockatoo - never put your fingers in the Cocky’s cage!

Pigeons are not part of the farm so shoo away when feeding animals.
